English Language Services

The ELS program will identify students whose native language is not English. These students will be assessed to determine if their academic performance is being negatively impacted as a result of English not being their primary language. The Stafford Township School District 's Mission Statement is built on the belief that all students can learn but do so differently and at different rates. The district’s goal for our English Language Service population is to assist identified students to become proficient in the areas of listening, speaking, and reading and writing. Students that have a primary home language other than English will take part in the ESL program.
